Drowning in a thousand priorities?

  • Is your backlog all over the place?

You will try out how a compelling product goal helps you separate the wheat from the chaff and focus on what matters.

  • Looking for the right backlog structure?

A "sorted list" is not always the most suitable visualization. We will introduce you to other ways to visualize the backlog – from mind maps to story maps.

  • Struggling with "how to write user stories correctly"?

You will find out what and how to record in the backlog – formats that work and those that just slow you down.

Is your team slowed down by uncertainties during planning?

  • Can't figure out how to "slice the elephant"?

You will learn techniques for splitting and slicing large items, so that every Sprint you can deliver something valuable.

  • Is your team waiting until you have everything perfectly prepared?

Refinement is a team activity. We will help you involve the entire team in backlog management. Yes, even the programmers.

  • What belongs in the first version?

Using User Story Mapping you will identify the smallest version that fulfills key customer needs and allows you to iterate quickly.

How to gain stakeholder support and keep them engaged?

  • Too many stakeholders who need to be satisfied?

Not all stakeholders are equally important. Map them and prioritize who to have more frequent contact with. PO sometimes stands for Political Officer.

  • The right people don't show up to Sprint Review?

We will show you how to prepare Sprint Review so that customers and stakeholders want to be part of it and provide valuable feedback.

  • Are you constantly bombarded with questions "when will it be done"?

We will show you how to transparently communicate progress toward the product goal and manage uncertainty along the way.

The training was great, if not the best in recent years. And trust me, I don't throw superlatives around. The trainer was awesome! Real-world examples always make a difference. Thanks Karel!
